Conferences dealing with future building practices at ScandBuild
In a month’s time the Scandinavian building trade meets at ScandBuild. A number of important conferences focus on highly topical trade issues regarding, i.a. wood constructions, moisture problems, sustainable building practices, and safeguarding IT-installations.
ScandBuild at Bella Center gather the decision-makers of the sector such as architects, entrepreneurs, constructors, real estate owners and purchasers. They come to the meeting place to get the latest news of the trade, establish business contacts and follow developments within a number of different issues. Seven conferences taking place simultaneously with ScandBuild offer the visitor the opportunity to engage in interesting topics.
International Moisture Day TUESDAY 31 MARCH
Both Denmark and Sweden have recently introduced new building regulations which express other requirements regarding moisture. Critical moisture conditions need to be identified for the materials used and buildings should be secured against moisture according to these regulations. These issues are discussed at the International Moisture Day where internationally leading experts in the area of moisture will give lectures.

Sustainable Industrial Buildings TUESDAY 31 MARCH
The aim of the conference is to visualize various examples of sustainable, industrialized and energy efficient construction methods. The day is concluded by a discussion of how we can build passive houses for the future using industrialized techniques.

Scandinavian Danvak Day WEDNESDAY 1 APRIL
Danvak’s annual conference for engineers in the Scandinavian HVAC-sector gather at ScandBuild for the Danvak Day. The annual conference focuses on climate, i.a. the indoor climate in buildings, passive houses, heating units and energy systems.

Green IT in Buildings 2009 WEDNESDAY 1 APRIL
The conference will provide the building trade with updated knowledge about how you construct homes and office buildings which – due to IT - are both energy efficient and safeguarded for the future by means of an adjustable IT-infrastructure.

International Wood Building Day THURSDAY 2 APRIL
The Wood Building Day is a gathering for everyone in the trade where new ways of wood construction are discussed. This sector is faced with new challenges both regarding new architecture and new climate and energy wise solutions. It’s all about a new way of constructing.

Match making at ScandBuild TUESDAY 31 MARCH + WEDNESDAY 1 APRIL
